I’ve worked as a science and health journalist for quite a few decades contributing to most national newspapers and quite a journals. I’ve won prizes for work published by BMJ, FT, Daily Mail and online publications.
I’ve been a qualified Feldenkrais practitioner for nearly two years, having completed a four year course in London with teaching led by Scott Clark and Elizabeth Beringer, two of the most respected practitioners working today.
Having originally started the Feldenkrais Method training as a way of improving my own posture and well being, it’s a surprise as well as an privilege to find myself now providing group classes as well as one-to-one hand-on lessons to people, many of whom are seeking the same help as I sought.
In 2022/3 and 2024/5, I served as a proud judge for the bi-annual Polly Corrigan Book Prize, an award organised jointly by Womens Intelligence Network (WIN) and King’s Intelligence Studies Group (KISG) in memory of Dr Polly Corrigan (PhD awarded posthumously) who died aged 45 in December 2019.
I’m Womens Officer for West Hampstead Labour Party and Secretary of the Lymington Road Residents Association.
I’m an exceptionally proud Nana to Martha and Rosie and Nanny to Aoife and Odin.
